Proximity with the people...
Proximity is not just a word, it is a principle which I follow!!! I am working for a Mauritius where there are equal opportunities for everyone, where young people are given the opportunities they deserve, where women are empowered and where the population has a say in all matters concerning the country...
I am a highly motivated, dynamic, flexible and versatile person with an educational background in the pharmaceutical and management fields and more than 15 years of international working experience and a passion for social work.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Health Engineering from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Montpellier, France, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Open University of Mauritius and a Bachelor of Laws, LLB from the Open University of Mauritius.
I have worked in the pharmaceutical industry in France at Sanofi-aventis and Bristol-Myers Squibb for a few years before coming back to Mauritius. In Mauritius, I have ventured into different fields of work. I am currently a freelance consultant in the pharmaceutical and management fields and my main activities consist of medical writing, clinical research monitoring and lecturing in communication, marketing and management. I am also the director of Green to Clean Ltd, a pool and garden services company.
I am passionate about social work. Through ZenfanvilaZ, Rotary and other organisations, I have worked on various projects from which the community has benefited. As a leader and a role model, I encourage women and young people to be assertive, to be confident and to dare to be different. I aim to improve the community by training people, especially women and young people, to enable opportunities through skills development. I am also a member of the Civil Society Network against Corruption and have participated in the various conferences organised by the Africa Union to find solutions to fight against corruption in Mauritius.
I am working for a Mauritius where there are equal opportunities for everyone, where young people are given the opportunities they deserve, where women and young people are empowered and where the population has a say in all matters concerning the country.
I am an executive member of the Mauritius Labour Party and participated in the 2019 General Elections as a candidate for constituency 16. I was nominated and selected as one of the 100 most Influential Women in Mauritius in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Are you passionate about our country? Come and join us to work for a better Mauritius.
